Our Mission is to build our discovery pipeline targeted at several mental illnesses and to help others in the industry discovery and develop such therapeutics as well.

Chakra Biotech Pte Ltd was established in 2001 in Singapore. We have in-licensed several intellectual property assets that permits the discovery of novel chemical entities and a technology platform as our discovery engine. In 2007, Chakra Biotech spun-out its discovery engine to establish a neuro-behavioural screening laboratory in Malaysia.

Chakra Biotech Sdn Bhd, Malaysia offers a full range of neurobehavioural screening services using our proprietary mouse model for schizophrenia, the chakragati mouse and conditioned animal models of behaviour. The chakragati mouse exhibits several pathologies found in patients suffering from schizophrenia and provides an excellent resource to test various pharmacological paradigms.
